_MG_2504_Abe_GabeJehovah’s Traveling Trunk Show, a funny and entertaining tour through the great stories of the Bible will be playing for three performances August 13th through the 15th at the Dutch Village Inn in Columbiana.

A homeless man (“Zeus” played by Ted Swartz) meets a piano-playing angel (“Gabriel” played by Jeff Raught) who has brought onstage a trunk full of props, costumes and God’s stories. You’ll never forget Jeff Raught’s amazing rendition of his original song, “Tattered and Worn” or the colorful way Ted Swartz brings the wonderful characters of the Bible to life right before your eyes in this amazing production.

Led by artistic director, Ted Swartz, and using comedy, drama and original music, Ted & Company TheaterWorks of Harrisonburg Virginia, present live stage productions that not only entertain but also celebrate Christian beliefs and the true joys of faith.
Additional original live productions to be presented at the Dutch Village Inn by Ted & Company in 2014 include The Jesus Stories in September and a new Christmas musical in December, Just Give ‘Em the News.

Discounted group rates are available and the Inn also offers an overnight dinner theater package which includes a stay at the hotel with dinner and show tickets. Both the matinee and evening performances include the signature food of the Dutch Village Inn prepared on site by the Inn’s executive chef.
