Vote for the Dutch Village Inn’s Chef

JohnnaParkeJohnna Parke, the Inn’s longtime onsite executive chef, will be one of the celebrity chefs in  Goodness Grows’ 4th annual Benefit Dinner and Chef Competition, the Harvest of Hope.

The event is coming right up on Saturday, September 27, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Common Ground Church in North Lima, 2310 West South Range Rd.

Johnna will be preparing her famous Swiss Steak in the entree division and will enter her savory Roasted Red Pepper Soup in the soup division.

She is one of six area chefs showcasing their talent in preparing fresh local seasonal foods.

Appetizers and entrées will be served throughout the courtyard, greenhouse, and cafe on the grounds beginning at 5:00 pm. Voting for favorite chefs will close at 7pm and dessert samples will be available at that time.

This is your chance to sample the delicious food of the Dutch Village Inn for your next banquet, wedding, shower or business meeting while also supporting a very good cause.

Goodness Grows is entering its 8th year of raising produce naturally and providing agricultural training to special-needs students, community members and groups. A non-profit, Goodness Grows seeks community transformation through agriculture that gives life with a main goal for everyone to have access to fresh, wholesome food.
