Princesses on Parade Fairy-tale Fashion Show (Inn-sponsored Event) February 27 & March 5 – 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Girls ages 3 – 12 can dress up like their favorite princess and walk on the fashion runway for family and friends. From local radio in the 1930’s to the Grand Ole Opry and Carnegie Hall, this premier southern gospel quartet is the oldest mixed gospel group with ties to its original founding that is still performing and recording after 8 decades. D.P. “Dad” Carter formed the group in 1935 and since then this amazing quartet has sold over 40 million records and has been showered with musical awards and accolades. You’ll feel this funny and entertaining tour through the great stories of the Bible in your heart as a homeless man (“Zeus” played by Ted Swartz) meets a piano-playing angel (“Gabriel” played by Jeff Raught) who has brought onstage a trunk full of props, costumes and God’s stories. You’ll never forget Jeff Raught’s amazing rendition of his original song, “Tattered and Worn” or the colorful way Ted Swartz brings the wonderful characters of the Bible to life right before your eyes. Mike Albert’s “Ultimate Tribute” show has become known worldwide for the respectful portrayal of the late Elvis Presley. Mike has won several major world “Elvis” contests, and his show is always in high demand. The Inn is thrilled to be able to present this top-notch entertainer to our audiences in the 2016 season and, hopefully, beyond. Mike has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show and his style and charisma as Elvis draws sold-out crowds everywhere he goes. His powerful voice lends itself well to every type of Elvis’ music — 50’s, 60’s and 70’s rock and roll as well as love songs and gospel. His persona is Elvis through and through and his costumes have been tailored from the same pattern and materials as Elvis’ own and have been made by the same Hollywood tailor.
