This month at the Inn …. a Portrait of an American Legend
May 30, 2019
Terry Lee Goffee, one of the finest Johnny Cash tribute artists performing today, and the only artist endorsed by the Cash family, will appear at the Das Dutch Village Event Center inside Best Western Plus Dutch Haus Inn and Suites this month.
Two concerts by this renowned performer are scheduled on June 14 at the Inn — a 12:00 pm Luncheon Matinee and a 7:00 pm Dinner Performance.
Terry Lee, based in Wellington, Ohio, has been playing the music of Johnny Cash for over 15 years, and the popularity of “The Man in Black” has not begun to fade. Goffee will perform with his three-piece “Train of Love” band behind him — just like Johnny did — drums, bass and guitar — in a concert that will include some of Cash’s most famous and popular hits like “I Walk the Line,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “A Boy Named Sue, “Sunday Morning Coming Down” and more. The concert will also feature a two-harmonica performance by Goffee doing “Orange Blossom Special” presenting one of Cash’s most beloved crowd-pleasing songs. In 2003, shortly after the death of Johnny Cash’s wife, June Carter Cash, Johnny’s sister, Joanne, and brother, Tommy, sang on stage with Goffee in an electrifying performance.
The evening performance includes a four-course gourmet buffet with carving station and the matinee features a full four-course plated luncheon including beverages and dessert. Tickets, on sale now, are $46.50 per person for the Luncheon show and $51.50 for the Dinner show. A $5 discount per ticket is offered for orders of 8 or more.
A “That’s Entertainment” dinner theater package is also available for both performances, including package rates for lunch or dinner, show tickets, overnight guestroom, and deluxe hot breakfast. An indoor swimming pool and hot tub are available to overnight guests. Centrally located in northeastern Ohio, the Best Western Plus is an easy drive, accessible from the Ohio turnpike and several major state routes.
