ABOUT THE RESTAURANT

In early 1982, Das Dutch Haus Restaurant opened with seating for 60 guests and a staff of twelve employees. During the last thirty years, we have experienced six expansions and currently have seating for 450. Our staff has grown to 188 employees (not including the Village Shops or Inn). Our wholesome ingredients, tasty recipes and comfortable atmosphere have made Das Dutch Haus a regular gathering place for families and friends who are hungry for homemade. Enjoying a meal at Das Dutch Haus will remind you of dinners that took place around grandma’s table. Having our generous portions of “home-cooked” favorites served to you by our friendly staff will be a wonderful experience in home-style hospitality.

Hungry for Home Made…
Das Dutch Haus, in the Pennsylvania Dutch tradition, serves up hearty, delicious meals to thousands of guests each week. You’ll find roast turkey, chicken and special-recipe noodles and many other favorites along with real mashed potatoes, homemade soups, a fresh salad bar and an assortment of fresh baked breads and muffins for your enjoyment. For morning meals, we offer many popular choices including our own country breakfast buffet.

Folks travel for miles to enjoy old-fashioned meals and tasty homemade desserts too numerous to mention. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, home-style cooking is our recipe for success! Serving you since 1982.
